Today marks the end of eight years of service Ed Ogosta has provided to the Culver City Planning Commission. His second term now completed, he was honored today in a ceremony at City Hall council chambers, where speeches were given, thank-you’s exchanged, and citations were provided. In the time he served as Commissioner, Culver City has undergone tremendous changes, and Ed was instrumental in reviewing and approving major projects such as the Amazon Prime campus at Culver Studios, Culver Steps, Apple TV HQ, Ivy Station, and numerous housing projects. As the only architect on the five-member Commission, Ed provided a forward-looking perspective on the issues facing the City with regard to design, zoning, social issues, and the built environment. Thanks are in order to past and present Commissioners, City staff, and citizens for this very warm recognition of Ed’s service.
